Tuesday Pennant – Round 3

Most of us thought we would never enjoy playing on the Murrumbeena surface which in recent years has resembled a road more than a bowling green.

Well, that has all changed with the club’s brand new surface a delight to bowl on and it will only get better over the coming seasons!

That we didn’t manage to get a win (44-58) was a bit disappointing but a very good effort nevertheless by a team which has seen a bit of rebuilding from last season.

Div 4 played out a thrilling finish at home to hang on for a 9/52 to 7/52 win over Armadale.

While I saw many fine shots during the last few ends of this match, Tony Gamble will certainly be able to dine out for a while on his first bowl of the last end of the match which snatched the game from the opposition.  If you have a few minutes to spare, ask Tony about it.

A great team effort this one!
