Happy new year to one and all! Hopefully the year has started well for you and you are back enjoying our wonderful sport in glorious Melbourne sunshine. Pennant bowls has begun again in earnest, with midweek games on Tuesdays and of course Saturday games on …. you guessed it, SATURDAYS!
This coming Wednesday the 21st of January will see the recommencement of Wednesday Night Lights, our twilight barefoot bowls evenings. These have always been well-attended and are a great place to bring friends and family for a night out of good food and fun bowling in a very relaxed atmosphere. When friends suggest getting together for dinner one evening, why not suggest a barefoot bowls evening as something a bit different (and YOU don’t have to cook – or clean up!).
The price for members remains at a ridiculously inexpensive $10 and for non-members the price is $20. This will entitle you to a two-course meal PLUS barefoot bowling PLUS a friendly atmosphere PLUS drinks at super-cheap prices PLUS bowling instruction (if you want it). You can come along any time after about 5:00pm for a pre-dinner drink and a roll-up if you fancy, and dinner is served at 6:30pm. Why WOULDN’T you come to Twilight Bowls at MBC?
