Closing of the Green & Trophy Winners

On Sunday, the annual Closing of the Green luncheon and Awards Ceremony was held at the club. It was a great success with the capable co-ordination of Helen Classon, assisted by a team of wonderful volunteers.  The balloons and floral decorations on the tables, by Lou Harris, were absolutely magnificent, and made for such a festive atmosphere in the clubhouse!

We were pleased to welcome home our club President, Tony Gamble, and Penny, our First Lady, returning from overseas on the day prior to the event.

Our sincere congratulations go to the deserving trophy winners and thanks to the organisation of the day to Helen, Lou and the team!  We couldn’t have done it without you!

Without further ado, please enjoy the attached photographic record of the day, put together by our club Secretary, Graeme Lee.  Thank you, Graeme!
