It is with great sadness that I wish to inform you all of the sudden and totally unexpected death of Carolyn Whyte.
I understand that she suffered a fatal stroke and died on Tuesday.
Carolyn joined the Club only recently and immediately became associated with the U3A group. She showed great enthusiasm and keenness to learn the game and became a regular attendee both on the relevant Sundays and also frequently joined with that group in attending on Wednesday evenings at our Barefoot Bowls evenings.
We will certainly miss her warmth and good humour. We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to Carolyn’s family.
