The opening of the green will take place on Saturday August 30th. Plan to arrive at 1.00 pm for the “First Bowl” ceremony at approximately 1.30 pm.
Late News: Federal Member for Higgins and MBC Social Member, Kelly O’Dwyer has once again accepted the invitation to put down the first bowl and declare the Green open for the 2014-15 season.
This will be followed by some social bowling and afternoon tea will be provided.
The Club is looking forward to an enjoyable and successful 2014 – 15 season. Teams have been entered in divisions 4 and 6 Saturday Pennant and divisions 2 and 4 Mid-week (Tuesday) Pennant.
Although the fixture has not been finalised at this time, we do know that Saturday Pennant commences on October 4 and Tuesday on September 23.
