It’s been a little quiet here on the Malvern Bowls Club’s website, as the end of season approached and then arrived.
The results for our club overall are as follows:
Saturday’s Division 4 team finished 7th on the ladder with 7 wins and 11 losses
Saturday’s Div 6 team finished 7th on the ladder with 6 wins and 12 losses
Midweek Div 2 team finished in 8th position with 8 wins, 9 losses and 1 draw
Midweek Div 4 team finished 10th with 6 wins, 11 losses and 1 draw
So, the season has drawn to a close for our teams, but wait, there’s more! The following email went out to Club members from our President, Tony Gamble. Please accept this as your invitation to come along on Sunday.
“Just when we thought that our Club’s involvement for this Year was over!
Well, competitively, it is of course.
But, as a clear indication of the esteem that our Club enjoys, I am delighted to confirm that the Sectional Final between the two winning semi-finalists (against whom our Division 6 Team played this season) is to be held at The Malvern Bowling Club this coming Sunday, March 1st.
As the chosen host, we will, of course, be offering our usual hospitality, including Afternoon Tea. Needless to say, the Bar will be open.”
