DEE’S LATEST NEWS 2

Good Afternoon,

If you’re not somewhere warm, isn’t it icy?. You may have joined us on Friday for a very pleasant evening. Thank you Andy for your skills on the BBQ, John for the burgers and Pen for salad.

Conversation was of course diverse and lively. The movies were a hot topic. I didn’t know there are cinemas with huge screens in the Gold Coast and indeed here also. Greg has enjoyed the latest Oceans and The Bookshop, Pen Disobedience, De Korte’s Foxtrot and Finemores Back to Burgundy. Rohan recommends Gurrumul as well as Cinema Fiasco at The Astor. I’ve never been courageous enough to try this look at these disasters of film making, but Rohan finds these monthly? evenings well worthwhile. And so they must be, they’ve been presented for 10 years. You must question him further.

Malcolm unfortunately couldn’t join us, he has broken his leg, in I think, 2 places. Such bad luck, we wish you a speedy recovery.

Bowling is on again at Brighton this coming Wednesday 18th.

And Friday night drinks are of course on, 20th.

Hope to see you soon,

Dee

Hi! I'm Ed Payne - I have been a resident of Malvern for the past 35 years (my whole life) and have only been bowling for a very short while. I've gone the "whole hog" and jumped in as the Secretary of Malvern Bowls Club and now I'm doing a little work on the website. I hope I can help YOU to get the best out of this site, as it belongs to YOU, the member. So please don't hesitate to suggest changes and additions - I'll always listen.
